What’s New

Updated Clinical Options

IPR (interproximal reduction), attachments, and bite ramps have been added as optional clinical capabilities for treatment plans. When submitting a case, you can now indicate if you would prefer CandidPro include any or all of these features when treatment planning.

How do I access these new features/clinical capabilities?

When submitting a new case, you’ll notice three new questions under the “Treatment Goals” section where you can select any or all of your treatment preferences.

  1. Do you prefer to use IPR?

  2. Do you prefer to use attachments?

  3. Do you prefer to use bite ramps?

Here you can indicate if you would prefer that our treatment planning team leverage any of these features. NOTE however, if you still prefer we treatment plan without these, you can select “No” and we will be sure NOT to include the features you've indicated.

In addition to these new questions, we’ve also added a tooth chart making it easier to indicate which teeth should not be moved due to things like implants, bridges, or ankylosed teeth.

Why did we make this update?

We want to continue to ensure that you have the control and optionality you prefer in order to treat your patients. While our treatment methodology has not changed in that we still aim to use minimally invasive treatment protocols, we wanted to make sure we are listening to our providers in what they want and need.

When is this change happening?

These changes started rolling out March 8th, 2023.
