New case status tracker and updated patient detail page

What's new?

The Patient Detail page within the CandidPro portal just got a lot more powerful thanks to a new case tracking feature, improved layout, and updated patient search.

Improved Layout & Navigation

  1. Patient Information: We've organized all of your patient's information on the left hand pane, making it easier to view and edit.

  2. Actions: All of the actions you may want to take on your case (viewing CandidMonitoring, requesting additional aligners, ordering retainers, etc.) are now organized in a single location within the "Actions" drop down.

New Case Tracker

Following the submission of a new case, you'll now see a tracker when viewing the patient detail page. This will help bring more visibility into the status of your case between creation and start of treatment.

There are 7 different statuses you'll see:

  1. Case Created: The date in which you created the case.

  2. Submission under review: Reviewing all of the materials submitted with your case.

    • If needed, we’ll request new materials or ask for clarification and update this status accordingly (see below).

  1. Treatment planning in progress: Creating the custom treatment plan for you and your patient.

  2. Treatment plan ready for review: During this stage we will collapse the case tracker so that your treatment plan is front and center for you to review and approve.

  3. Aligner kit in production: Manufacturing the aligners.

  4. Aligner kit shipped: Aligner kit has officially shipped (either to your patient or your office, depending on your selection).

    • Here we'll surface a link to allow for you to track the aligner kit (see below).

  1. Aligner kit delivered: Aligners have been delivered and treatment can begin!

Updated Patient Search

You’ll notice some updates to patient search, making it even easier to find your patients and check in on their status.

  1. Updated filters: We’ve significantly reduced the number of filters and improved their clarity, making it easier to find who you are looking for.

  2. Expedited search: Both what you type in “Search for patient” and select in the “Filters” now automatically applies as you search. This enables your patient list to update as you go.

  3. Filters persist: If you ever decide to go back to your search after clicking into a patient’s profile, your search parameters will now be saved. You no longer have to reapply all of the same filters.

Why are we making these changes?

We've heard feedback that better visibility is needed into a case's status from start to finish. Given this, the new case tracker was created. Additionally, we are always looking to make improvements to the navigation of the portal so that you have a seamless experience.

When are these updates happening?

These changes went live June 26th, 2023.
