Key improvements to CandidPro based on your feedback

We’re pleased to share that CandidPro has released several new features and product enhancements that are now available to our providers. Over the last several months, our team has developed predictable 7-day wear schedules, expanded our support for elastics, improved our patient monitoring, and rolled out several features that make the Provider Portal experience more efficient. Some of these features were highly requested by our providers, and we’re thrilled to see how they’ll leverage them for the benefit of their patients. 

Here’s what’s new with CandidPro:

7-day wear schedules

CandidPro providers now have the option to choose from either 7-day or 14-day wear schedules for their patients on a per-case or default basis. Adding options for 7-day wear gives providers the ability to accelerate treatment without sacrificing quality. We piloted this feature with a small group of providers. The results suggested that our 7-day wear schedule achieved the same results while improving patient compliance. 

‍For tough movements that require longer wear periods, CandidMonitoring scans can help providers determine whether patients should delay an aligner change to allow for the prescribed movement to be expressed.

Tackling complex cases with expanded support for elastics

We’ve improved our support for elastics giving our providers more control over this vital treatment tool with additional support for elastic cutouts, buttons, and slits/hooks. This is a vital feature for treating more complex Class II and Class III malocclusions and should deliver more predictable treatments for crossbites, rotations, and midline deviations. 

We extensively tested our new elastics features with a small pilot group to optimize the placement of elastic buttons and slits/hooks to prevent aligner deformation. One key advantage here is our aligner material: Zendura FLX, which is extremely durable and can stand up to the additional forces of elastic bands. 

Promoting better records with ScanAssist

CandidPro patients who begin treatment after August 26th will now have an improved scanning process in the ProMonitoring app called ScanAssist. Previously, ProMonitoring scans were conducted in one motion at a pace dictated by the app, which sometimes led to lower-quality records that necessitated retakes. New ScanAssist offers a checkpoint-assisted scanning sequence that moves at the patient's pace with real-time feedback that reduces the need for retakes and improves scan quality, giving providers higher-quality treatment records.

Improvements to the Provider Portal

We’ve added several new features to the Provider Portal that will help make our providers’ experience more efficient. Here are just a few of the features we’ve rolled out in the Provider Portal.

Start monitoring

  • You can now control when monitoring begins for each patient

Direct monitoring links

  • Patient monitoring information is now linked in the Provider Portal.

Consolidated product selection

  • See all products available on a per-patient basis based on treatment status, refinement eligibility, and other factors. No more guesswork!

Promo codes

  • Providers are now able to activate promotional pricing using a promo code field at checkout—ideal for those who purchased the New Provider Bundle

Direct Search for Help Content

  • Clicking the question mark icon in the header will now take providers directly to the knowledge base where they can search all available help articles
